3-candle pattern · Bearish
An upside gap two crows pattern is a bullish candle, followed by a bearish candle that gaps up and doesn’t fill that gap, followed by a second bearish candle that closes lower still but remains above the first candle’s close. It shows an uptrend running into trouble right after a gap higher.
Because the gap isn’t fully filled by the two bearish candles, the pattern is read as an early warning rather than a full reversal — two sessions of selling pressure have shown up, but the bulls haven’t yet given back all of their prior gains. Whether the gap eventually gets filled is what most traders watch for next.
