BROKER REVIEW · RANK #124 OF 139

TRADE.com review

Regulatory claims for Trade.com vary by source: alongside its CySEC licence (227/14) above, some sources also cite FCA (UK), FSCA (South Africa), FSC and FINRA coverage, while others map CySEC specifically to "Trade Capital Markets (TCM) Ltd" and a separate Mauritius FSC entity to "Lead Capital Global Ltd" -- the exact regulated entity for any given client's jurisdiction isn't resolved here and should be confirmed directly from the broker's terms. Most significantly: ForexPeaceArmy, a major independent tracker, records 2 "Traders Court guilty votes" against Trade.com (March 2018) and explicitly warns of large numbers of fake and highly suspicious positive reviews submitted for it between 2019 and 2022 -- a credible, named manipulation finding, not just an allegation. Note the separate, similarly-named broker "Trading.com" is a different company, reviewed elsewhere on this site -- search results for "Trade.com" frequently conflate the two.

    Who TRADE.com is -- and isn't -- a good fit for

Likely a good fit if you're...

    • EU- and/or UK-based traders who want the regulatory protections and investor compensation scheme that come with a CySEC and/or FCA licence (see Investor protection below).

    Look elsewhere if you're...

    • No specific "not for" signal in our researched criteria -- still confirm current terms directly with the broker.

Derived from the same confirmed data behind this broker's score (regulation, cost, platforms, deposit minimum) -- not a separate editorial judgment.

    Investor protection

Via its CySEC-regulated Cyprus entity, eligible clients are covered by Cyprus's Investor Compensation Fund (ICF) up to €20,000 per person if the firm fails.

Accounts, costs & support in more depth

Beyond the headline spread and minimum deposit above. Where our research hasn't independently confirmed a specific detail, we say so rather than guess -- verify directly with the broker before relying on it.

Account typesOne review describes four tiers -- Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Exclusive -- with a "reasonable" entry-level minimum deposit but much larger deposits required for higher tiers; a separate source cites commissions from 0.08% on the Exclusive tier and a DMA option alongside no ECN account. Minimum deposit reported as $100 by one source. Note: this account structure is specific to Trade.com and should not be confused with the similarly-named Trading.com, a separate broker reviewed elsewhere on this site.
Execution modelSources disagree: one describes it as non-dealing-desk, required to seek best execution; another lists it as a Market Maker registered with the NFA (US). A secondhand forum post (unverified) describes a separate DMA tier for professional traders requiring a much higher minimum alongside a regular ECN-style account from $100. This is not resolved to a single answer here.
Withdrawals & depositsNo current fee schedule was found. Historical (2017-era) ForexPeaceArmy forum complaints describe accounts being suspended or frozen immediately after a withdrawal request, support going silent, and the broker invoking a "Market Abuse and Prohibitive Trading Techniques" clause to justify freezes. Importantly, ForexPeaceArmy's own listing records 2 "FPA Traders Court guilty votes" from March 2018 and explicitly warns of large numbers of fake and highly suspicious positive reviews submitted for Trade.com between 2019 and 2022, advising "extreme caution." This is a credible, named tracker's own guilty finding and review-manipulation warning, not just an unverified forum post.
Overnight financing (swap)Confirmed to exist as a cost category per one independent review; no specific swap rates were found.
Currency conversion costNot independently confirmed in our research -- check the broker's own site or contact support directly.
Inactivity feeOne review cites $25 after 90 days of inactivity, rising by a further $100 after a full year of inactivity -- a specific and fairly aggressive figure, though from a single source and not cross-confirmed.
Customer serviceNo independent, dated quality commentary was found beyond the historical ForexPeaceArmy complaints above about support going unresponsive after withdrawal requests.
Mobile experienceDescribed by one review as an MT4-based mobile platform offering "an almost similar experience as desktop... with a few limitations," with availability said to depend on local trading policy/jurisdiction. No App Store/Google Play rating was found.
Educational offeringNot independently confirmed in our research -- check the broker's own site or contact support directly.
