Skilling review

Skilling, co-founded in 2016 by former IG/Nordea/Cinnober executives, was acquired by INFINOX in late 2025, after which the brand continued operating with access to the wider INFINOX group's technology and licences.

3.04 / 5 overall CySEC No. 357/18 + FSA Seychelles No. SD042 · est. 2016
Data last reviewed: 8 October 2026 Regulation last reviewed: 8 October 2026 Pricing last checked: March 2026 Next scheduled review: January 2027
Worth knowing: Skilling also holds an FSA Seychelles licence via a separate Seychelles entity and an FCA UK branch authorisation obtained in 2020 -- not counted here since sourcing did not clearly confirm the FCA authorisation is held by the same legal entity as the CySEC licence. Skilling was acquired by INFINOX in late 2025.

Who Skilling is -- and isn't -- a good fit for

Likely a good fit if you're...

  • Traders who want platform choice -- 4 platforms are confirmed, including MT4, cTrader.
  • EU- and/or UK-based traders who want the regulatory protections and investor compensation scheme that come with a CySEC and/or FCA licence (see Investor protection below).

Look elsewhere if you're...

  • No specific "not for" signal in our researched criteria -- still confirm current terms directly with the broker.

Derived from the same confirmed data behind this broker's score (regulation, cost, platforms, deposit minimum) -- not a separate editorial judgment.

Investor protection

Via its CySEC-regulated Cyprus entity, eligible clients are covered by Cyprus's Investor Compensation Fund (ICF) up to €20,000 per person if the firm fails. Via its Seychelles FSA-licensed entity, there is no statutory investor compensation scheme -- if that entity fails, there is no guaranteed fund to recover client money from.

Accounts, costs & support in more depth

Beyond the headline spread and minimum deposit above. Where our research hasn't independently confirmed a specific detail, we say so rather than guess -- verify directly with the broker before relying on it.

Account typesStandard (minimum deposit $100, commission-free, spreads from 0.7 pips) and Premium (minimum deposit $5,000, spreads from 0.1 pips, commission from $35/million traded), with an Islamic/swap-free option also offered across its own proprietary platform, cTrader, and MT4.
Execution modelDescribed as no-dealing-desk with both a "market maker" account and an "STP" account available, meaning execution style appears to vary by account tier, consistent with the Standard/Premium split. A roughly 0.05-second execution speed is marketed but not independently verified.
Withdrawals & depositsCards, e-wallets (Skrill, Neteller) and bank wire are supported. Deposits are generally instant for cards/e-wallets (2-7 business days for wire); withdrawals process in 1-48 hours for cards/e-wallets and several business days for wire. Deposits and withdrawals are generally fee-free except Skrill/Neteller, which may carry fees up to around 2.9%. Minimum withdrawal around $50/€50.
Overnight financing (swap)The Islamic account avoids swaps; no benchmark-plus-markup methodology was found for standard accounts.
Currency conversion costNot found -- searches returned only unrelated e-wallet conversion-fee information, not Skilling's own account-currency conversion policy.
Inactivity fee£10 (or currency equivalent) after 12 months of dormancy, per one broker-comparison source; exact exemptions weren't detailed and should be confirmed against Skilling's own terms.
Customer serviceTrustpilot rates it around 4.2/5 from 432 reviews on one regional storefront. Detailed independent commentary on support hours and channels specifically wasn't found beyond the rating itself.
Mobile experienceOne broker-comparison aggregator cites 4.2 on Android and 5.0 on iOS, though these figures weren't independently verified directly against the live App Store/Google Play listings. Skilling also offers copy trading with 800+ strategies.
Educational offeringOffers forex calculators and trading videos, but no in-depth independent assessment of course or webinar substance was found.
