JFD Brokers review

Important: JFD Group Ltd announced in April 2026 that it is withdrawing from the retail market -- GBE Brokers Ltd acquired its retail client base and partner network in an asset deal, with German-speaking client support moving to GBE's Hamburg office. As of this review, JFD is effectively no longer operating as a retail broker; the account and fee details below predate this exit and are kept only as historical/legacy information, not a live offering.

3.22 / 5 overall CySEC No. 150/11 · est. 2011
Data last reviewed: 8 October 2026 Regulation last reviewed: 8 October 2026 Pricing last checked: March 2026 Next scheduled review: January 2027
Worth knowing: The BaFin licence is held by the German affiliate JFD Bank AG, a separate legal entity from the CySEC-licensed JFD Group Ltd; JFD's earlier FCA passporting registration lapsed after Brexit. Note: this CySEC licence's practical relevance is now in question given JFD's April 2026 retail-market exit (see blurb above).

Who JFD Brokers is -- and isn't -- a good fit for

Likely a good fit if you're...

    • EU- and/or UK-based traders who want the regulatory protections and investor compensation scheme that come with a CySEC and/or FCA licence (see Investor protection below).

    Look elsewhere if you're...

    • No specific "not for" signal in our researched criteria -- still confirm current terms directly with the broker.

Derived from the same confirmed data behind this broker's score (regulation, cost, platforms, deposit minimum) -- not a separate editorial judgment.

    Investor protection

Via its CySEC-regulated Cyprus entity, eligible clients are covered by Cyprus's Investor Compensation Fund (ICF) up to €20,000 per person if the firm fails.

Accounts, costs & support in more depth

Beyond the headline spread and minimum deposit above. Where our research hasn't independently confirmed a specific detail, we say so rather than guess -- verify directly with the broker before relying on it.

Account typesHistorical/legacy information only, predating the April 2026 retail-market exit noted above: Standard (floating spreads, no added commission) and ECN/RAW (near-raw spreads plus commission).
Execution modelDescribed elsewhere as 100% DMA/STP/no-dealing-desk, though this wasn't independently re-confirmed against JFD's own fee schedule before its retail exit.
Withdrawals & depositsLegacy information: reported as no withdrawal fee; specific payment methods, processing times and minimums weren't found.
Overnight financing (swap)Not found -- no benchmark-plus-markup swap methodology was located.
Currency conversion costNot found -- no specific fee or percentage was located.
Inactivity feeSources conflict: one comparison site states no inactivity fee existed, while Trustpilot reviews include complaints that JFD drained accounts due to inactivity fees -- a genuine, unresolved conflict rather than a settled fact.
Customer serviceLegacy Trustpilot rating around 4.1/5 from a small sample (33 reviews). Reviews were mixed: some called support very helpful and praised platform stability, while others reported a serious account-draining complaint (including one citing a roughly €14,000 loss) and a phishing/security-related complaint. JFD reportedly responded to about three-quarters of negative reviews, usually within two weeks.
Mobile experienceNo verified App Store or Google Play star rating was found; a figure sometimes cited elsewhere traces to a broker-comparison score rather than an actual app-store rating.
Educational offeringOffered MT4+, MT5+, and the German-focused "Guidants" platform (charts, expert streams, research features) across 1,500+ tradable assets, but no dedicated webinar or course program was found.
