Gildencrest Capital review

FCA-authorised since 2011 as Tera Europe Ltd, trading as TeraFX, before rebranding to Gildencrest Capital in February 2024. Financial performance has been volatile: reported revenue grew 52% to GBP7.55m in 2023, but fell back to GBP3.65m the following year, with profit after tax collapsing to GBP20,458 from GBP809,912. A legacy ForexPeaceArmy listing under the TeraFX name shows a low 1.87/5 rating from a small number of reviews, including a 2016 complaint alleging a reversed client profit citing a "manifest error" clause -- an unverified individual allegation, not a regulatory finding. No current independent reviews were found under the Gildencrest Capital name on major comparison sites.

Worth knowing: The FCA has published a clone-firm warning for "gildencrestcap.com" (note: missing "ital") impersonating this firm via fake emails -- the genuine firm is Gildencrest Capital Limited, FRN 564741, Canary Wharf, London. Rebranded from TeraFX on 1 February 2024; parent is Turkish investment group Tera Yatirim.

InstrumentsHistorically (as TeraFX) offered forex (~59 pairs), metal CFDs (6), stock indices (12), cryptocurrencies (4), and energies (2); however, 2024-2025 financial reporting shows the firm sharply shifting away from retail FX/CFD business toward equities for professional/institutional clients (CFD revenue fell to GBP231,000 in 2024 while equities became roughly 90% of income). Its current retail instrument range is therefore likely narrower than this historical list -- treat this as a broker whose offering may be in flux.
