5-candle pattern · Bullish continuation
Rising three methods is a long bullish candle, followed by three small bearish (or mixed) candles that stay within the first candle’s range, followed by another long bullish candle that closes at a new high. It shows an uptrend pausing to consolidate for a few sessions without actually reversing, then resuming.
The key detail is that the three small middle candles stay contained within the first candle’s range — if they break below it, the setup no longer qualifies and the bullish continuation case weakens considerably. It’s a pattern about patience: three quiet sessions that don’t undo the prior move, followed by a resumption of it.
