3-candle pattern · Bullish reversal (confirmed)
A three inside up pattern is a bullish harami (a large bearish candle, then a small bullish candle inside it) followed by a third bullish candle that closes above the first candle’s high. That third candle is the confirmation that turns a harami from a tentative signal into a more decisive reversal call.
Because a standalone harami only shows momentum contracting, not reversing, many traders specifically wait for this third-candle confirmation before acting — which is exactly what this pattern represents. It’s essentially the harami pattern plus the proof that buyers actually followed through.
